Matawan Borough seeks participants for Memorial Day Parade

The Borough of Matawan will hold its annual Memorial Day Parade on May 28. The parade begins at St. Clements Church’s parking lot at 2 p.m. and marches along Route 79 to Main St., Matawan, ending at Memorial Park where there will be an official ceremony.

The Borough of Matawan, its Mayor and Council invite all veterans and active members of the United States Armed Forces to march in the Parade. Nominations are now being accepted for the selection of the parade’s Grand Marshall. Candidates need to be veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces and residents of Matawan.
