Sammy’s Hope Animal Welfare and Adoption Center, Sayreville, will hold its second annual charity golf outing May 3 at the Royce Brook Golf Club, 201 Hamilton Road, Hillsborough. Registration and breakfast are set for 8 a.m. Play will begin at 9 a.m.
At the conclusion of play there will be cocktails and lunch, an awards ceremony and a raffle for gift cards, high-end kitchen appliances, spa treatments, food-and-wine baskets and more.
Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting adoption services for shelter animals and helping to relieve overcrowded conditions at area municipal animal shelters.
