Author to speak about growing up Hasidic

Shulem Deen, author of the memoir “All Who Go Do Not Return,” will speak at 7:30 p.m. on April 26 at the Douglass Student Center, 100 George St., New Brunswick, about his struggles with faith, family and community growing up in one of America’s most insular Hasidic sects.

Sponsored by the Allen and Joan Bildner Center for the Study of Jewish Life, the free talk is this year’s Abram Matlofsky Memorial Program supported by the Karma Foundation.
