Hundreds of affiliated real estate agents and staff will be volunteering for a wide variety of charitable activities. Cares Day activities include town and park clean-ups; blood drives; food, clothing and baby supply drives; a Habitat for Humanity build; renovating a church apartment to help a homeless family on their way to self-sufficiency; garage sales for charity; secure document shredding; spending quality time at after-school programs and senior care facilities; volunteering at homeless shelters; and raising funds to support veterans, cancer research and ailing members of the community.

There will also be pet adoptions and pet supply collections in support of the nationwide Coldwell Banker Homes for Dogs Project, a partnership with Adopt-a-Pet.com aimed at helping adoptable dogs find loving homes. Together, the pair has helped more than 20,000 dogs find homes and are poised to continue this effort throughout 2017.

“For five years, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage volunteers have come together to support their communities and make a positive impact on a regional level,” said Hal Maxwell, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y. “They also give back throughout the entire year, and I am proud of them for their continual generosity.”
