Author to explore the history of East Brunswick

The East Brunswick Public Library will present “Explore Local History with Mark Nonestied” on at 7 p.m. on May 15 at the library, 2 Civic Center Dr., East Brunswick.

Nonestied is the author of “East Brunswick: Images of America,” a local history book that details the town’s transformation through photographs. He also is the division head of Historic Sites and History Services at the Middlesex County Office of Culture and Heritage. Known for his volunteer efforts on behalf of the community, he is also past president of the East Brunswick Museum.

Registration is not required. This program is part of the library’s 50th anniversary program series and is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
