Respite program meets on Mondays

The Interfaith Network of Care currently has openings from 12-4 p.m. on Mondays in their Respite program held at the South River American Legion, 264 Whitehead Ave., South River.

The program provides a nutritious meal, music, chair exercises and visits from a comfort dog.

The program has participants with dementia, some who have had strokes, and others who are living with various physical disabilities.

There is a suggested donation of $12 per day.
