The South Brunswick Arts Commission will present an interactive play at 2 p.m. on June 23 at the South Brunswick Library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

“Fractured” is geared toward elementary-aged children on the first day of summer. The play combines fantasy and audience participation as a group of children works to correct several “fractured” fairy tales that have been tampered with by supervillain Mischievous Mikey.

Written by South Brunswick High School (SBHS) sophomore Mary Burke and senior Madeline Schmidt, and performed by a group of SBHS students, this is the sixth consecutive Library Theatre production since the program was founded in 2011. Its intent is to provide entertainment for children whose summer camps do not start right after school ends.

Free tickets will be available at the library beginning June 9.

For more information, call the library at 732-329-4000, ext. 7285 or email Matt Kirschner at mkirschner@sbpl.info.
