South Brunswick native to speak about book on college readiness

College professor, writer and South Brunswick High School Class of 1984 graduate Dr. Pam Weisenberg Hollander recently wrote a book about college readiness and will return to town to share her wisdom.

Hollander will lead an interactive workshop for high school students and recent graduates about classes, time management, studying, clubs and activities from 2-3 p.m. on July 22 at the South Brunswick Library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

Her new book “Readiness Realities: Struggles and Successes During the Transition to College” is about her 20 years of experience teaching first-year college students. She is currently an assistant professor in the Education department of Worcester State University.

There will be a book talk and refreshments after the workshop.
