Kara Helsby of East Brunwick has been named to the dean’s list at Salisbury University’s Seidel School of Education and Professional Studies, Salisbury, Maryland, for the spring semester.
Helsby has a 4.0 GPA. She will be inducted into the school’s Freshman Scholastic Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma, on Sept. 17.

Membership is founded solely on outstanding academic achievement and is reserved for students who earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above at the end of his/her freshman year.
She is a 2006 graduate of East Brunswick High School.
