Public session to discuss bail reform law on Aug. 23

A Criminal Justice Reform Outreach Session will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Aug. 23 at the New Brunswick Public Library, 60 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick.

Experience how New Jersey’s bail reform/speedy trial law that went into effect on Jan. 1 works and how it affects the community through an interactive session with judges, court representatives, public defenders and the private bar. Individual cases will not be discussed.

The session is free and open to the public.
