Activities planned for annual Franklin Day Festival

Franklin Township will hold its fourth annual Franklin Day Festival from noon to 5 p.m. on Sept. 23 at Colonial Park, Elizabeth Avenue, Franklin.

This year’s event will feature activities including live music, dance performances, food vendors, an art show, a classic car show and a farmers’ market. The event will also include free activities for children such as a petting zoo, pony rides, bubble soccer, mini golf, games and municipal vehicles to explore.

Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for a picnic in the park while enjoying the festival events.
