Curbside brush collection begins Sept. 25 in South Brunswick

South Brunswick will begin curbside brush collection at 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 25.

The township-wide collection may take more than one week.

Items that will be picked up include brush, branches, shrubs, bushes that are less than 4 feet in length and less than 5 inches in diameter. All materials must be securely tied in bundles that are less than 50 pounds and put at the curb, not in the street. Twigs and small branches that are less than 4 feet may be placed in a container.

No bags, leaves, weeds, stumps, litter or garbage will be accepted.

Residents choosing the delivery option for recycling brush may take it to the convenience center located behind Sondek Park, 473 E. New Road, near the intersection of Friendship Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
