The Kendall Park Volunteer Fire Company will hold an open house from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 14, rain or shine, at the firehouse, 125 New Road, Kendall Park section of South Brunswick.
The event will include a visit by Sparky the Fire Dog, fire equipment on display and an interactive smoke trailer. Meet local volunteer firefighters and learn the importance of fire safety.

There will be free safety giveaways for children and a raffle for a free smoke detector. There will also be hot dogs, popcorn, children’s t-shirts and sand art.
