Alzheimer’s Association will hold workshops at Metuchen Library

The Alzheimer’s Association will hold two workshops at the Metuchen Library, 480 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen.

The first workshop will include a discussion on understanding and responding to dementia-related behaviors at 7 p.m. on Nov. 28

A second workshop, entitled “Dementia Conversations” will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 6. During the workshop representatives from the Alzheimer’s Association will share tips for having conversations with loved ones around the most common issues arising regarding Alzheimer’s, as well as allowing attendees to hear from people dealing with similar issues and connecting them with helpful resources.

Registration is required for both workshops.  Interested individuals can register by calling the Metuchen Public Library at 732-632-8526 or stopping by the library’s main service desk.
