Cancer survivors can take part in physical activity at the Edison Y

The Edison YMCA is collaborating with the LIVESTRONG Foundation to provide a free 12-week physical activity program for cancer survivors age 18 and older at the Y, 1775 Oak Tree Road, Edison.

The program is designed to slowly and steadily build strength, flexibility and stamina in participants.

The next session will begin in February. Sessions meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one hour of yoga per week. Times are subject to change due to participant availability.

A doctor’s note is required. All participants must meet with Kim Shibata prior to the start of the program.
