The Old Bridge Public Library will celebrate the seventh annual National Take Your Child to the Library Day with crafts, activities and a family scavenger hunt from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 3 at the library, 1 Old Bridge Plaza at the corner of Rt. 516 and Cottrell Road in the Municipal Center, Old Bridge.

Throughout the day, there will be giveaways at the children’s desk if a child shows their library cards or obtains a new one. The first 50 children will also receive gift bags courtesy of JEI Learning Center of Old Bridge, and a collaborative community project in the children’s area will allow patrons to help add on scales to the Lunar New Year’s dragon that will be affixed to the windows. There will also be a table with information about various literacy programs, Library book lists and other relevant resources and programs.
