Shannon Evans of Jackson was one of 41 students in the University of the Sciences, Philadelphia, Pa., physician assistant studies program to join the ranks of professionals in a white coat ceremony. The ceremony marked the formal presentation of a white coat for physician assistant students as they begin working clinically with patients in hospitals and outpatient settings. Shannon is continuing on the path to a master of science in physician assistant studies.
