Kipnis for Congress campaign kickoff slated for April 9 in North Brunswick

Woodcliff Lake Mayor and 2017 Republican candidate for lieutenant governor Carlos Rendo is scheduled to be the guest speaker at the April 9 Kipnis for Congress kickoff reception in North Brunswick.

Somerset attorney Daryl Kipnis is the Republican challenger in New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District, running against two-term Democrat Bonnie Watson Coleman. Kipnis pledges to defend the right to keep and bear arms under the second amendment of the U.S. Constitution and preserve an individual’s right to medical freedom.

The 12th Congressional District covers parts of Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset and Union counties.

The kickoff event, and the campaign’s first major fundraiser, is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. April 9 at the Lago Restaurant & Banquet Hall on Farrington Lake, 230 Washington Place, North Brunswick.

Tickets include dinner and an open bar, as well as a program featuring Kipnis, Rendo and other dignitaries.
