Applications for the 2018-19 East Brunswick High School Bears and Cubs Preschool Program are available online at www.ebnet.org/preschool; in the Main Office at East Brunswick High School, 380 Cranbury Road; and at the receptionist desk of the Administration Building, 760 Route 18.

Free to East Brunswick residents, the preschool is an elective for high school juniors and seniors interested in a career in education. In this double-period, full-year course, high school students learn, plan, teach and observe children ages 35 years of age in a laboratory preschool setting. Prior to the preschool students’ arrival, the high school students learn about child development, teaching methods, observational techniques, as well as routines that are needed to work with preschool-aged children. The high school students then observe, plan and teach the preschool students under the supervision of their high school teachers.
