South Amboy Y offers new preschool programming

SOUTH AMBOY — Starting this month, the South Amboy YMCA is kickstarting its “Ready…Set…Learn” program.

This fun-filled two-hour program for children 24-48 months offers a range of activities to keep toddlers engaged, such as music, arts and crafts, storytime, indoor and outdoor play, and more.

The program meets 9:15-11:15 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, following the South Amboy School District holiday schedule.

The new class is accompanied by “Ready…Set…Go,” a physical component to help toddlers improve their gross motor skills through play. The class meets from 11:15 a.m. to noon Wednesdays following “Ready…Set…Learn.”

The classes are held at the Y, 200 John T. O’Leary Blvd., South Amboy.
