Join Brandeis University Middlesex Chapter for a musical afternoon at 1 p.m. on May 24 at the East Brunswick Library, Civic Center Drive off Ryders Lane, East Brunswick.
Jerry Berke will present a program highlighting the career of song lyricist Sammy Cahn. Cahn wrote the words for memorable songs including “Come Fly With Me,” “Teach Me Tonight” and “Second Time Around.” Berke will play and sing some of his favorites.

The May social justice collection will collect items for Dina’s Dwellings, a New Brunswick organization that helps victims of domestic violence.
