Rook Coffee has opened in the Colonial Plaza, 331 W. Main St., Freehold Township. Rook Coffee is a specialty coffee company complete with multiple coffee shops, a roastery, cold coffee brewery and an online store. This store will model the look and feel of Rook Coffee’s existing locations, offering to-go service, dedicated text-to-order service and fresh baked goods from Balthazar. Like some other Rook Coffee locations, it will also be offering freshly baked bagels and Rook’s signature, homemade fig butter.
Miriam Koppel of Marlboro will be among 32 women to be honored at the 39th annual Tribute to Women and Industry Awards Celebration, sponsored by YWCA Union County at the Hanover Marriott on May 10. Koppel is the assistant finance manager at Infineum USA L.P., Linden. Koppel has 19 years of experience in various roles within Infineum’s Finance organization. Currently, in her role as assistant finance manager for North America, she is responsible for managing and resolving challenges related to all aspects of financial accounting and tax issues for Infineum US and Infineum Canada. In her spare time, Koppel volunteers for STOMP the Monster, an organization which provides financial and other support to cancer patients and their families during their fight with the disease.
