Eagle Scout builds horseshoe pits at Thompson Park

EAST BRUNSWICK – Tyler Waite has become the 76th Eagle Scout for Troop 223 in East Brunswick.

For his service project, Tyler designed and built horseshoe pits in Thompson Park in Monroe.

He is currently a senior at East Brunswick High School, and has plans to enlist in the U.S. Army after graduation.

He will formally be presented with the Eagle Scout honor at a ceremony scheduled for June 23 at the East Brunswick Elks Lodge.
