A celebration for peace will be held on Aug. 26 at Sacred Heart Church, 531 Washington Ave., South Amboy, in honor of Our Lady of Czestochowa.
The Altar Rosary and Holy Name societies welcome the public for an afternoon of prayer and song. Mass at noon will be followed at 1 p.m. by the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, benediction, litany for peace and meditation on the mysteries of the Rosary.
