I have had the privilege of knowing Shawn Lipani and Ron Skobo for over 30 years. Both are people-oriented individuals who have had a long history of service to the residents of Hillsborough.

Shawn was raised in Hillsborough and has been active in the community his entire life. He works at Central Jersey Nurseries, which is a family owned and operated business here in Hillsborough. Additionally, he has served on several township boards and commissions.

Ron Skobo has resided in Hillsborough for more than 40 years. He has raised his children here, and to this day, his children and grandchildren call Hillsborough home. I have had the pleasure of serving with Ron on the Recreation Commission for many years. Ron was instrumental in forging the parks and recreation programs that we all continue to enjoy today. He has a long career in law enforcement and has also served on various boards and commissions in the township.

Both of these gentlemen are deeply invested in their community and are dedicated to giving back in order to keep Hillsborough one of the best places to live. I know Shawn and Ron will work to provide sound fiscal management, preserve open space and farmland, improve roads and infrastructure, support small business and continue to make Hillsborough what it’s known for, one of the safest places to live and raise a family.

Please join me in supporting Shawn Lipani and Ron Skobo for Hillsborough Township Committee on November 6.
