EAST BRUNSWICK – Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church (LCF) recently received a $10,000 grant from Investors Foundation to further the church’s mission of providing events, activities and outreach to the community.

LCF offers food distribution through an on-site food pantry; family fun festivals; a Color Fun Run For a Cause; competitive game nights for youth; holiday dinners for the lonely, underprivileged and elderly of the community; a weeklong Vacation Bible School open; Boys and Girls Scouting-type programs, such as Royal Rangers and MPact Girls Ministries; and mission trips abroad to provide medical services, educational programs and food distributions to children and their families in poverty-stricken and third-world countries.

“This past year, we, as a church, made the decision to do our banking with Investors Bank and forged a relationship with them that we are both comfortable and satisfied with. It’s one that isn’t simply a business partnership, but one that involves a mutual concern and desire to improve and bring benefit to our surrounding community, and the families that call this area home. We see it as a win-win to lock arms with a local, hometown community-friendly bank that specializes in customer service and that personal touch. Their vision is one that is compatible and in harmony with our vision as a local church. We have utmost confidence in the fact that Investors Bank enters into this partnership with our church bringing with them a mutual enthusiasm and the anticipation of achieving great things together, for the betterment of individuals and families in Middlesex County,” Lead Pastor Steve Schuessler said in a prepared statement.
