Holmdel wins second straight Group 2 state boys’ soccer title

Holmdel High School repeated as the Group 2 state champion in boys’ soccer.

Holmdel successfully defended its Group 2 state title when it defeated Glen Rock High School, 3-1, in the NJSIAA tournament championship game on Nov. 17 at Kean University in Union.

Mark McStay and Anthony Arena each scored in the second half when Holmdel pulled away for its second straight state crown.
