The Tanglewood Marionettes will then perform “Sleeping Beauty” at 2 p.m. on March 3. They recreate the classic fairy tale with handcrafted marionettes. Before the performance, the puppeteers will demonstrate how marionettes work. “Sleeping Beauty” is for children ages 2 and up.

The 20th annual Phyllis Noar Puppetry Festival is sponsored by the Phyllis Noar Memorial Fund of the Friends of the East Brunswick Library to celebrate the life of the late library advocate and past president of the Friends.

Free tickets for both programs are available at the Youth Services Desk.
