Community Narcan training takes place March 11 in Metuchen

The Metuchen Municipal Alliance will sponsor a community education event for anyone looking to learn more about caring for someone at risk for a heroin or opioid overdose at 7 p.m. on March 11 at the Metuchen Senior Center, 15 Center St., Metuchen.

Limited to the first 30 people who arrive, first-come, first-served.

Participants will receive free training about addiction and free Narcan Nasal Spray Kits. Training is open to anyone who is at risk or knows someone who is at risk for a heroin or opioid overdose.

The session also includes information about substance use disorder.
