Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return to ABC for its sixth season with a special episode on Friday, May 10, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Coming to grips with the knowledge that bending the laws of space and time may have saved the planet, but it couldn’t save Fitz or Coulson. The series stars Clark Gregg as Sarge, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Henry Simmons as Director Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie, Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez and Jeff Ward as Deke Shaw.

The new Discovery Channel series Masters of Disaster follows a team of craftsmen who restore vintage objects for survival. The six-episode series premieres on Friday, May 3, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Come doomsday, what’s old could save your life! Whether threatened by hurricane, power outage or nuclear fallout, most of today’s devices that we rely on won’t work in a catastrophe. If the internet crashes and power fails, modern technology could be rendered useless. Knowing this, survivalists and preppers are on the hunt for bygone technology that will work in any worst-case scenario. Mechanic Beau Boruff, owner of Survival Research Inc., leads a talented crew of craftsmen who source, restore, and sell vintage objects that may be useful in any calamity. If there’s a run on gas, an old-fashioned whiskey still can be used to create ethanol and power most modern gasoline engines. Among the items restored are a 1950s OC-6 Crawler Tractor capable of climbing any terrain, and a well drilling rig from the 1920s so you’ll never run out of fresh water.
