Metuchen Arts Council launches Cornerstone Jazz Series

The Metuchen Arts Council will launch its Cornerstone Jazz Series, recalling the days of Metuchen’s Cornerstone Restaurant where many jazz greats performed.

Don Braden (saxophone) Quartet presents Earth Wind and Wonder on June 2. Winard Harper (drums) & Jeli Posse perform on July 7. Westerhoff School of Music & Art with organist Radam Schwartz perform on Aug. 4.

Doors open at 3 p.m. at the Old Franklin School, 491 Middlesex Avenue (Route 27) next to the firehouse, Metuchen.

Adults are $10 and students are free.
