HOLMDEL – Eric Hinds and Chiung-Yin Liu will run unopposed two three-year seats on the Holmdel Township Committee in November after being the two highest vote-getters in the June 4
Hinds, who is Holmdel’s mayor for 2019, and Liu, who serves on the Holmdel Board of Education, outpolled Holmdel’s current Deputy Mayor Michael Nikolis and challengers Kimberly LaMountain and Nicholas Teetelli
In the contested primary, Hinds and Liu received 874 votes and 666 votes, respectively, to secure the Republican party’s nominations.
Nikolis, LaMountain and Teetelli received 657 votes, 312 votes and 60 votes, respectively, according to results posted online by the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office. No Democrats filed for the primary election.
The results of the election were finalized on June 7.

I also want to thank the whole campaign team and all of the volunteers.
