The Clara Barton Library will hold a workshop on fall prevention at 2 p.m. on Sept. 6.
Travel beyond the moon with a discussion on robotic exploration of the solar system at 1 p.m. on Sept. 28.
“Coping with Chronic Illness and Loss” will be at 2 p.m on Oct. 1.
“Let’s Play Loteria” will be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 2. The presentation will instruct how to play the traditional Mexican game combining cards and bingo. All ages are welcome.
Each library branch has partnered with Guatemala Book Project for a donation drive, in order to establish small scholastic libraries in the Recuerdo a Barrios region of Guatemala. Spanish/bilingual books and school supplies will be accepted. The drive runs from Sept. 16 to Oct. 19.
