EAST BRUNSWICK–The race for three, three-year terms on the East Brunswick Board of Education is very close.

Incumbent Liwu Wong received 3,075 votes/23%.

Fellow incumbent Mark Csizmar and newcomer Heather Guas each received 2,773 votes/21%.

Newcomer Curt Philipczak received 2,725 votes/20%, while newcomer Wesam Berjaoui registered 2,114 votes/16%.

Election results from Nov. 5 are according to the Middlesex County Board of Elections and are unofficial until certified.
