At the start of the meeting, the three residents who won three-year terms in the Nov. 5 election were sworn in to begin serving their terms.

The winners were incumbent Michael Sockol, newcomer Elizabeth Urbanski and Joseph Hammer, who is starting his second stint on the board after serving earlier in the 2000s.

Hammer, Sockol, Urbanski and Flynn are joined on the board by Eileen Briamonte, Jamie Collins, Brian Foster, Peter Reddy and Terence Wall.

When the floor was opened to nominations for president, Flynn was the only nomination and she was unanimously elected.

“Thank you to my fellow board members for your support. I know you will all continue to support me as you do throughout the rest of the year and I count on it. I thank you all for your dedication to our board and to our community. I want to congratulate Elizabeth, Joe and Mike for successfully agreeing to serve our community.”

In the election for vice president, Sockol was the only nomination and he was unanimously elected to serve in the position.
