There are 120 kittens that have cleared the shelter and have been drafted as participants in Kitten Bowl VII, airing on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 2, at 2 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel. This annual event is part of the network’s foundational pet initiative, Adoption Ever After, and is hosted once again by Beth Stern. Hallmark Channel and North Shore Animal League America have an annual shelter pet adoption party every Kitten Bowl Weekend. What began as five shelter parties in 2014 expanded to 25 in 2015, 50 in 2016, 100 in 2017, and 500 in 2018. This past year’s Kitten Bowl VI shelter parties resulted in 15,519 animals, finding forever homes. Co-commentators, Jill Wagner and Brennan Elliott will call the Kitten Bowl VII play by play action, with appearances by former NFL players Boomer Esaison (Commissioner of the Feline Football League) and Rashad Jennings, picking their personal favorites of the feline championship game!
