SAYREVILLE – A teacher at Sayreville Middle School has been charged on multiple counts involving the alleged sexual assault of a minor who was reportedly known to him.
John M. Denuto, 43, of Spotswood, was charged on Feb. 15 with one count of sexual assault in the second degree, one count of endangering the welfare of a child in the third degree, one count of filming child pornography in the second degree, and one count of possession of child pornography in the third degree.
The defendant is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center pending a Detention Hearing.
