Hillsborough releases coronavirus statistics for March 27

HILLSBOROUGH – Hillsborough has one reported death and 23 positive cases of coronavirus, as of March 27.

There are six deaths and 218 positive cases in Somerset County.

There are 81 deaths and 6,876 cases in New Jersey.

There are 994 deaths and 68,440 cases in the United States.

The Building Department has implemented an amended inspection schedule through April 3.

Beginning March 30, the Engineering Department will be open with limited staff, but be closed on Fridays.

Residents in need of temporary assistance should contact the Community Assistance Network.

As of March 28, ShopRite of Hillsborough will limit shoppers to 200 people at one time.
