Monroe officials report 16 new positive COVID-19 cases

MONROE – Monroe officials reported 16 new positive COVID-19 cases on March 31, bringing the total number of cases to 90, according to the Monroe Township Office of Emergency Management.

The new cases include seven females – a 25-year-old, a 36-year-old, a 50-year-old, a 56-year-old, 75-year-old, and a 77-year-old female, and an 86-year-old – and nine men – 47-year-old, 51-year-old, 54-year-old, 61-year-old, a 65-year-old, two 87-year-olds, an 88-year-old and a 93-year-old.

The drive-thru testing site at MyInstaDoc, 298 Applegarth Road, reports testing more than 600 patients in Monroe since testing began on March 20.

The testing site serves pre-registered patients from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and drive-up patients from 1-3:30pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Pre-register at www.myinstadocmonroe.com or call 609-207-3220 to speak with a medical professional.
