SheTek launches The Outlet webinar series to encourage women in technology

SheTek, an initiative of PamTen, Inc., launched The Outlet, an ongoing webinar series hosted by SheTek’s Extraordinary Women in Leadership.

Attendees will plug in to close conversations between leading women around the country regarding unique experiences, interesting challenges, emerging trends and achieving tech success.

The first event in this series is a free Have Your Lunch and Learn session planned for noon to 1 p.m. on April 23.

SheTek’s commitment to increasing the number of women in the tech staffing pipeline means women are supported at all phases of their IT career, according to information provided by the company. SheTek, based in Princeton, places qualified women in technical roles, educates women on career growth and technical skills, and provides an online community to grow professional networks.

The first episode of The Outlet will dive into the value of mentorship, the importance of role models, and the power of a community to drive career success. This integrates with SheTek’s mission to provide women with the skills, examples, and models they need to grow their technical careers, according to the statement.

Speakers on the launch episode of will be Chaya Pamula, SheTek founder and PamTen, Inc’s president, CEO and co-founder; along with Michele Siekerka, president and CEO of NJBIA (New Jersey Business and Industry Association). This discussion will incorporate a Q&A session, allowing the audience to explore challenges with women who can guide them to answers and resources.
