Learn how to help children cope with their coronavirus fears

Hackensack Meridian Health will hold two virtual programs on how to help children cope with their coronavirus fears at 11 a.m. May 7 and at 6:30 p.m. May 11, for about a half hour each.

Sarah Geser, LCSW, will discuss the stages of mental and emotional development, how to listen to and validate feelings, what you can control, modeling behaviors and how to decrease the long-term impact of trauma.

 

Participants are encouraged to submit questions for the discussion.
