A Princeton High School staff member who lives in a household where a family member has tested positive for COVID-19 is under quarantine and working from home, Interim Superintendent of Schools Barry Galasso said Oct. 14.

The staff member was at Princeton High School on Oct. 13, but not Oct. 12 or Oct. 14, and had no contact with students, Galasso said. The staff member reportedly was wearing a mask at all times while at the high school, he said.

There have been no reports of positive tests for COVID-19 among Princeton High School staff, Galasso said. Employees who had close contact with the staff member have been notified.

Galasso said there are no recommendations for further precautionary measures at Princeton High School, other than continued vigilance. He said the school district will share “relevant information” as it becomes available.
