Spotswood resident Jacqueline Palmer leads mayoral race against current councilman

SPOTSWOOD–With election results still coming in, resident Jacqueline Palmer holds the lead against Council President Larry Kraemer in the mayoral race in Spotswood.

Palmer received 1,800 votes and Kraemer received 872 votes, with 29 additional write-in votes cast, according to the Middlesex County Clerk’s Office website as of 9:57 p.m. Nov. 10.

The results reflect what has been posted online by the Middlesex County Clerk’s Office as of press time.

The results of the election will remain unofficial until they are certified, which could be on or before Nov. 20, according to the clerk’s office.
