Election Update: Cranbury Township Committee, school board

Elections were held for seats on the Township Committee and Board of Education in Cranbury Township on Nov. 3.

The results listed reflect what has been posted online by the Middlesex County Clerk’s Office as of 7:07 p.m. Nov. 6. Mail-in ballots can be received through Nov. 10, and provisional ballots will be tabulated post-Nov. 11. Certification is expected as of Nov. 20.

The results are not final and it is not known when the results will be final.

The results of the election will remain unofficial until they are certified.

Cranbury Township Committee, one three-year term available:

Incumbent Democrat Matt Scott, currently serving as mayor, has 1,026 votes.

Republican Joseph Buonavolonta has 504 votes.

There are 0 write-in votes.

Cranbury School Board of Education, three three-year terms available:

Incumbent Robert Christopher has 1,104 votes.

Incumbent Lisa Rue has 1,085 votes.

Colleen Raymond has 1,070 votes.

There are 4 write-in votes.
