“We are absolutely thrilled that we were able to host our annual golf outing this year after all of the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic over the last seventeen months,” Sheri Marino, executive director, JFK University Medical Center Foundation, said in a prepared statement about the outing, held at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield on Aug. 23. “It was such a delight to see our incredibly generous  participants and donors. With their support, JFK University Medical Center will remain on the forefront of patient care and keep our communities healthy as we continue to face this crisis.”

Funds raised will support JFK University Medical Center’s greatest needs and strategic priorities, including the renowned Neuroscience Institute, Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, Women’s and Children’s Health and the expansion of the campus.

“What a fantastic day spent on the golf course with our wonderful community and donors,” Joseph Yewaisis, chair, JFK University Medical Center Foundation, said in the statement. “We remain in awe of JFK University Medical Center and our clinician teams, researchers and team members who did so much to keep us safe. We are grateful to all of our committed supporters and our sponsors who continue to help us advance care for patients and their families. We cannot do this work without them.”
