North Brunswick Food Bank destroyed by Ida; food drive planned for Sept. 18

The North Brunswick Public Library is hosting an outdoor food drive to benefit the North Brunswick Food Bank, which was severely damaged during Tropical Storm Ida on Sept. 1.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 18, food, gift cards and monetary donations will be accepted on the front lawn of the library, 710 Hermann Road, North Brunswick.

Donations such as peanut butter, jelly, pasta, canned beans, rice, and macaroni and cheese are needed. Food must not be expired, and only non-perishable foods are accepted.
