East Windsor man charged with possession of drug paraphernalia

A 25-year-old East Windsor man is facing charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and motor vehicle violations after police were called to investigate a suspicious car parking in the lot at the Wawa convenience store parking lot on Hickory Corner Road, according to the East Windsor Township Police Department.

The officer responded to the parking lot at 3:08 a.m. Oct. 8. While the officer was talking to the man, he allegedly observed some heroin folds in plain view inside the car. A search of the car uncovered numerous used heroin folds, police said.

The man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while his license was suspended, being an unlicensed driver, having an uninsured vehicle, having an unregistered vehicle and having a fictitious license plate.
