East Windsor man faces multiple charges after hit-and-run crash

A 32-year-old East Windsor Township man is facing multiple charges after he was involved in a hit-and-run crash on Twin Rivers Drive North on March 14, according to the East Windsor Police Department.

The man fled on foot after his car allegedly struck several parked vehicles on Twin Rivers Drive North, police said. Police were able to apprehend him a short time later. He allegedly showed signs of impairment and was charged with driving under in the influence, reckless driving and careless driving.

The man was also charged with obstruction of the administration of law, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, being an unlicensed driver, and failure to exhibit a vehicle registration and insurance card, police said.

He was processed and released.
