A Flemington woman was arrested on outstanding warrants from Trenton, Lawrence Township and Far Hills Borough following a motor vehicle stop on Route 579 near Church Road Nov. 26. She was processed and released to the Lawrence Township Police Department on default of bail.

A Mount Laurel woman was charged with driving under the influence following a crash between her vehicle and a UPS truck on Patterson Avenue Nov. 24. She was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. She was processed and released.

An Easton, Pa., man was charged with resisting arrest by eluding with a motor vehicle and other motor vehicle violations after he allegedly led police on a chase through several towns before coming to a stop on I-295 near the Scotch Road ramp Nov. 21. Police officers from Hopewell Township and other towns tried to stop him because he was allegedly driving recklessly and endangering the public. He was processed and released.

A River Road woman lost about $7,000 after several checks were stolen and cashed against her bank account in an incident that was reported Nov. 21. The check numbers matched the ones that the victim sent out for different payments, but it appears that the checks were stolen before they reached their intended destination. The amounts of the checks also were altered.

A victim was nearly scammed out of $3,000 in an attempted fraud incident that was reported Nov. 21. The victim received calls and text messages from a person who demanded $3,000 or the victim’s family would be harmed. The victim did not send money to the unknown person.

A victim reported that two fraudulent checks for $1,088.46 and $1,658.12 were cashed, using her bank account information. The victim was notified of the transactions Nov. 21.

Someone stole a package from the doorstep of a victim’s home between Nov. 18 and Nov. 20. The victim contacted the vendor, who stated that records showed the package was delivered successfully. The package was valued at $270.

A Ewing Township man was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking 10 records from the Hopewell Valley car wash on Route 31 on Nov. 8. He was charged on a summons.

A victim reported that $484.62 was transferred from their Wells Fargo bank account to a sports betting platform. Wells Fargo Bank reimbursed the victim in the incident, which was reported Nov. 17.

A thief gained access to a victim’s Wells Fargo bank account and took $200 from the account. The victim was reimbursed by the bank in the incident of fraud, which was reported Nov. 17.

A Piscataway man and a New York City man were arrested on outstanding warrants after the pickup truck in which they were riding was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Fabrow Drive on Nov. 16. The men were processed and released.
