Four men are facing drug-related charges after police seized more than five grams of powder cocaine, valued at $500,000 in a drug bust at a Lawrence Township motel, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

The arrests and drug seizure at the Motel 6 on Brunswick Pike on March 21 was the result of a month-long investigation into cocaine distribution in Mercer County, the prosecutor’s office said.

William Androver-Rodriguez, 38, of Galloway, Ohio, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance and conspiracy to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, the prosecutor’s office said.

Jamie Acevedo-Correa, 42, of Rio Grande, Cape May County; Manuel Castro-Velazquez, 46, of Trenton; and Elvin Perez-Medina, 34, of Puerto Rico, were charged with conspiracy to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, according to the prosecutor’s office.

The investigation was launched after the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force received information from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration about the case.

Detectives carried out a search warrant at the Motel 6 and found Rodriguez in a first-floor room at the motel with the powder cocaine. He was taken into custody without incident, the prosecutor’s office said.

The other men who were allegedly involved in the conspiracy to distribute cocaine were arrested nearby.

The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office filed motions to detain the men at the Mercer County Correction Center, pending trial.

Police departments from Lawrence Township, Ewing Township, Hamilton Township and the City of Trenton and the Federal Bureau of Investigation also assisted with the investigation.
